The Other Mountain Maid

Many are familiar with Jean Wallace, but there was another "Mountain Maid" of Roaring River, Marie Olsen, friend of Jean Wallace, who died after returning to New York City in 1894. She was a convert to Theosophy, who was cremated, with ashes spread at Roaring River.
